I am Ethel (Wells)Blackwood.  I am the eldest of 4 children 2 girls and 2 boys.

Reuben Bruce Wells-My Father Born in 1928 and passed from this life into eternity in February of this year.  My dad had 9 siblings.

Reuben Washington Wells-Grandfather Born in Madill Ok 1905 died 1953. I believe he had 5 brothers who lived.

Glover W. Wells Great Grandfather Born in Texas in 1877 died in early 1960's. Grandpa Glover had 9 siblings.

Reuben Wells Great Great Grandfather born in Kentucky in 1832 and died in Texas. He had 7 siblings.

Glover Wells Great, Great, Great Grandfather born in Kentucky between 1807-1812. He had 6 sisters and brothers and may have been a twin.  This information is new as of 2-2-2005 shared by a newly found cousin in Colorado who is the twins' descendant.

John Wells, Great, Great, Great,Great Grandfather born in 1780 in South Carolina.  We suspect this is the father of the above mentioned siblings. He was born in South Carolina around 1680.  This is also new information as of 2-2-2005.

We are all descended from a Samuel Wells born around 1680 in Stafford County, Virginia. This is DNA proven by the above mentioned cousin from Colorado.  I am so grateful to him for this information. 

Ethel Inis(Royal) wife of Reuben Washington Wells was my grandmother. She had 7 siblings.

John Elby Royal Great Grandfather born in Illinois.

Jackson Clyde Royal Great, Great Grandfather born in Illinois.

Ethel's Mother was MattieCordelia (Tankersley) Royal.

Ethel's Grandmother is Nancy Angeline May and her Grandfather is James Fountaine Royal.

Imogene Williams  my Mother  born in 1930. She was an only child.

Alfred Allon Williams Grandfather born in 1917 died in late 1990's. We think he had 5 siblings but have yet to prove this.

James E. Williams Great Grandfather born in 1868. Died in 1939.

Abram Williams Great, great granddad I am researching him at this time. 

My Grandmother was Sallie Lorene (Brownlee) Williams. She had 6 siblings.

David Newton Brownlee Great Grandfather. He had 9 siblings.

Robert Newton Brownlee Great, Great Grandfather.  Had a sister.

James M.Brownlee Great, Great, Great Grandfather died in the Civil War as a Confederate Infantryman in the 53rd Georgia Regiment. James had 12 siblings.

James Brownlee Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather. Had 10 siblings.

Joseph Brownlee 5x Great Grandfather. 

Bobby Gene Blackwood  He has two sisters and one brother.  One sister is deceased.

Odie William and Theah Mary Leona (Bowlin) parents both are deceased.

William Ozie Blackwood, Grandfather died in 1939 in Oklahoma.  He married Elizabeth Morris in Arkansas.

Because of a sweet cousin in Mississippi we now can move back further in history.  William S. Blackwood is Great Grandfather of born in Arkansas.

We will revise this more because we can now get back to Ireland in Bobby's lineage.  More will be added later.

Odie's Mother was Elizabeth Morris. She had several siblings.

Theah Mary Leona Bowlin Mother died in Oklahoma.

Jess Bowlin and Mary Audra Anderson Grandparents. Then I hit a brick wall again.  Can anyone help?

M. Bradley and Jeremy W. Blackwood are the children of Bobby and Ethel (Wells) Blackwood.  We are proud of them and our daughter-in-law, Patti.  We have been a family for 33 years.
